Congratulations Sara!

Yeah!!! My nail art buddy and co-founder of TNC, Sara,  has finished her hours and graduated school!! She's ready to take her state board test for her licence!!! That being said....she's still in school for 400 more hours. Sara is moving to Cali soon and will need to meet their requirements for licensing. She needs to complete extra hours and extra credits in  different areas.

Also, Cali requires a practical test also so she has been practicing many things including sculpted nails! She was frustrated at first but she getting the hang of it!

Im gonna miss Sara when she goes, but at least we have a few more months to hang out before she leaves....and I have an excuse to go visit Cali!!!!!! :D
Happy Polishing!!

A bit of Poish

I know I had said I was gonna post about water marbeling, but I'm still working on it. I really want to get it right and share some tips that helped.

Sometimes, nail club time is client time!! lol Its lots of fun when we get to share our talents with real customers (intead of plastic hands and fingers!!lol) Recently I had a chance to do some simple art on some great ladies!!
Maddie (an aspiring Nail Club member) was doing a pedicure and the lady mentioned she wanted something fun. Maddie called me over and I did a cute Jaguar print on her toe for the Jacksonville Jaguars. Maybe if I did some Jag Art on MoJo (Maurice Jones Drewis) he would decide to sign his contract and start playing ball, lol.

A young girl I dd acrylics on fell in love with a new OPI turquoise blue color. I did a blue tipped french manicure with some simple purple flowers for an accent nails.

and ever now and then I get time to polish my own nails!!! I did a fancy french style with ORLY  Beverly Hills manicure in Plum as my base, I  did a wide tip on the nails in OPI Prussian Bronze then I did the edge in ORLY Its up to blue. Finally i used Sinful Colors All about you to blend the copper to the blue. I think they tuned out cute!!

Thats all for now!! Until next time, Happy Polishing!!
